Presto Scandinavian Coffee Maker

I learned about this coffee maker in the consumer review section of coffeegeek.com. It has 3 heating elements instead of the normal 2. The extra element reheats the water above the grounds to maintain a brewing temperature of 180-200 degrees. This is the temp. necessary to get the most flavor from the coffee grounds. The bottom heating element under the carafe is automatically variable so the coffee sitting on it does not get a burnt or bitter flavor.
The carafe pours quickly without spillage and the water dispertion over the grinds is perfect.
The best thing is the price! The coffee experts at coffeegeek.com rate the Presto higher than many other more expensive machines.
I purchased this from Costco (about 50 bucks delivered)online. It can be purchased cheaper (about 44 bucks) from Amazon.
It makes a great cup of Joe.
